Drawing from clinical and research experience in nutritional psychiatry, the session will cover the relationship between nutrition & mental health; food-related issues that commonly emerge in therapy, and how therapists can work ethically and confidently with food & nutrition.

Soft Landing Saturday Mini Retreat
Treat yourself to some TLC on a Saturday afternoon. This mini retreat is about having restful time to move your body, soothe your nervous system and create spaciousness. Gentle yoga will unwind physical aches and tiredness from the week (no previous experience needed). Journaling to check-in with how you're feeling and somatic practices offer tools to support your nervous system. Finish with a yoga nidra relaxation to recharge. And did we mention healthy, delicious treats?!
Tessa Venuti Sanderson is an experienced yoga teacher of 20+ years and the longer she teaches the more she understands that listening to the body is key. She teaches in a trauma-informed way which is a balm for anxiety, giving different options so you can choose what's right for you. She is an experienced facilitating of listening circles and providing spaces where people can be themselves.
